Odong donates various development projects

In his effort to intensify the various programs that he initiated in Southern Leyte, Congressman Aniceto Saludo, Jr. is scheduled to turn-over computer units, encyclopedia sets, tractors and other infrastructure projects to his constituents in the month of June.

According to Saludo, it has always been his vision to one day see his young constituents enjoy the quality of education that is closely comparable to those offered in Metro Manila.  Because of this, Saludo said that he worked hard for the procurement of more than two hundred seventy (270) computer sets that has been donated to numerous schools in Southern Leyte.   He promised that more are coming this month.  He is also assuring the schools that they will also receive encyclopedia sets.

“Our youth deserve more from this government and I am determined to help them pursue their dreams by making their schools more conducive to learning.  Additional modern facilities will surely boost their effort to do better in school,” Saludo said.

In addition, Saludo also pledged that tractors will be donated to the municipalities of Sogod and Libagon and the City of Maasin.  Saludo said that these tractors will surely be a great help to the farmers who have long been tilling their soil manually.  He assured that he will continue working for the acquisition of more units for his constituents.

Meanwhile, another set of infrastructure projects will be donated to Southern Leyte.  Through Secretary Hernani Braganza of the Department of Agrarian Reform, Congressman Saludo will turn-over infrastructure projects to Bontoc, Tomas Oppus and Sogod.  The Pamahawan Bridge project, Rizal-Hugpa-Carnaga FMR and the Pandan-San Miguel Potable Water Supply will be turned-over to said municipalities, respectively.
